The CNC Ala project  (Ala means “forest” in Malagasy) was a regeneration and permaculture initiative in central Madagascar, addressing the severe drought and deforestation impacting the region's people, plants, and animals.

Hodler Coalition proudly supported this project by donating 20% of our pool rewards, contributing to the planting of 100,000 plants, including shade and fruit trees, using permaculture techniques across 20 hectares. These efforts also established food forests for local diets and income, alongside drought mitigation, education, water retention, soil regeneration, and community empowerment.

The ISPO

During the ISPO, delegates earned CNC tokens redeemable for bespoke, project-specific NFT art collections from Cardano Proxies, while helping fund this transformative initiative.

Although the CNC Ala ISPO has concluded, Hodler Coalition remains an active advocate for sustainable solutions as a proud member of Climate Neutral Cardano. We are committed to leveraging Cardano’s ecosystem to address global challenges and drive meaningful change.
